I am very concerned about this extension and don't beleive the DNR would support this except in a few put and take streams where the fish mortality is high. They halt stream work in all class 1 and 2 streams end of Sept. to protect spawning fish. 
I am also concerned about conflicts between hunters and fisherman. I know of hard feeling between water monitors and hunters and try to end my water monitoring by end of Septs
